P90X - Day 9

Day 9 kicked my ass today, I ain't gonna lie. Plyometrics which helps your jumping, puts the X in P90X, as they say. It's their most intense work out. The first time I did it, which was last week, I hung in there pretty good and I loved it. Today, I just don't think I was in the right mindset. I couldn't concentrate and was dragging more. Not a good showing on my part. I definitely need to be more focused on what I'm doing to prevent me from doing it half ass. Half ass gets you nowhere. When I do Plyo again next week, I'm going to come at it full force and kick it's ass.

I think part of the reason why I was so sluggish tonight was because I was tired. I worked out late, which I have been doing a lot so far during this. I should probably workout earlier. I'm not sure if many people read this, but for those of you who do, what time do you workout? When is the best time to do it? Morning? Afternoon? It's hard for me to work out in the middle of the afternoon with work, but might be able to do it early evenings. What do you think is the best time?

Reading up on your p90x blog...good for you. I did like a half a week and haven't continued like I should, it is a GREAT workout. As for the time of day..I think the morning. I USED to workout all the time before work and it gave me tons of energy for the day, put me in a great mood, and when evening comes...there is nothing weighing your mind down. It is VERY hard to get into a routine...but once you are there..it isn't so hard, like everything else in life. Now if I can take my own advice..I will have to get up at 3:30am to do p90x...maybe you should send me a wake up text..LOL...keep up the good work! :)
